‘Blame Dodger’ was originally released on Magik Johnson’s outstanding ‘You Are Sound’ full length from last year, and has returned with an impressive updated remix from electro house pimp, HiJack. All the catchy elements from the original are intact, including the spoken word from Morning Star, but with a bigger room fidget house edge. We love the cut and paste chunky funk vibes from this remix, and are still absolutely impressed with the original. Essential.
